Your files
Every Capyboat tool — PDF, image, photo, OCR, background removal and text tools — runs inside your web browser. The files and text you add are processed on your own device and are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else's. When you close the tab, they are gone.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count page visits and which tools are used. It does not use cookies, does not track you across websites and does not collect personal information. We never record file names or file contents.
Error reports
If a tool crashes, an anonymous technical error report (browser type, the tool name and the error message) may be sent to Sentry so we can fix the bug. It never contains your files.
Advertising
We may show ads to keep Capyboat free. Ad partners such as Google AdSense may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent first.
Children
Capyboat is a general-purpose utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
